Introduction to ABB Supplier Code of Conduct

We at ABB are convinced that good market leaders are characterized by competence, ambition and integrity. This ensures that we create value by fulfilling our commitments to our customers, our employees and the communities and societies in which we operate, acting in accordance with sound corporate values.

ABB works hard to integrate ethical concerns into our business practices and sustainability management is vital to our core business. ABB has a clear Code of Conduct, instructing all ABB employees how sustainable business should be performed under best practice principles. ABB expects and trusts that our supply base will honor these same ethical, social & environmental principles and practices, as described in the attached Supplier Code of Conduct (SCC).

It is imperative to ABB that our Suppliers, which we regard as our ‘Extended Enterprise’, conduct business respectfully towards employees, society, and the environment, in line with the values and principles on which ABB itself respects and operates.

As such the Supplier Code of Conduct is integrated into our day-to-day procurement and operations. The SCC is as well part of our Supplier Qualification, Development, and Evaluation requirements.

Feel free to contact our Supply Chain Sustainability Office at sustainability.scm@ch.abb.com for more information, or further explore our website.

ABB thanks you for helping us to create a sustainable future.

Sincerely,

Daniel Helmig
Group Senior Vice President SCM
Head of ABB Supply Chain Management
